Calculator inputs

Everything you type into a calculator is processed in your browser. The figures are never sent to a server and never stored. If you use the “copy a link” button, your inputs are encoded into that URL — so treat the link as you would the numbers themselves.

Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to show advertising. No ads appear until the site’s AdSense account is active, but this section describes how they work once they do.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Other ad vendors that Google works with may also set cookies.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of other vendors’ personalised ads at aboutads.info/choices. Opting out does not remove ads; it makes them less targeted.

Ads never have access to what you type into a calculator. Those figures stay in your browser, as described above.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people actually use. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, the pages you view, rough location and device details. Google processes that as a service provider; the reports show totals and patterns rather than named individuals.

Analytics only runs on ballparktax.com. It is switched off on preview builds and on the underlying pages.dev address.

To opt out, install Google’s opt-out add-on, use your browser’s Do Not Track or cookie controls, or block the domain googletagmanager.com. Nothing on this site stops working if you do — the calculators never needed analytics to run.
